Strength and Conditioning Coach
Former Army Special Forces Green Beret
Hi, I’m Preston.
I am the co-owner of Miramar Beach Strength and Conditioning, and my passion is helping people discover how strong they truly are.
My background started long before the gym floor. I served as a Green Beret in the United States Army, where discipline, resilience, and leadership were not optional. They were a way of life. Those lessons shaped how I approach coaching today.
At MBSC, my goal is simple. Create a place where people show up, work hard, support each other, and leave better than when they walked in.
Whether someone is stepping into the gym for the first time or pushing toward elite performance goals, I believe great coaching and the right community can change someone’s life.
This gym is not just a place to work out. It is a place where people build strength, confidence, and purpose together.
My turning point came when I realized that the same mindset that builds elite soldiers can also transform everyday people.
During my time in Special Forces, I saw firsthand what happens when people commit to something bigger than themselves. Hard things become possible. Limits get pushed. Teams become stronger together.
When I stepped into the world of CrossFit and strength training, I saw that same potential.
I realized the gym could become a place where people rediscover their confidence, rebuild their health, and surround themselves with people who refuse to settle for average.
That is when Ashley and I decided to build something special with Miramar Beach Strength and Conditioning.
Not just a gym.
A place where people train to become the best versions of themselves.
What motivates me most is watching someone change the way they see themselves.
The person who walks in unsure. The person who thinks they are too out of shape, too old, or too far behind to start.
Then weeks and months later you see something shift. Their posture changes. Their confidence grows. They start doing things they once believed were impossible.
Those moments never get old.
I am passionate about building a community where people push each other to grow, where hard work is respected, and where everyone understands that progress comes from showing up consistently.
